Modelo and Kappa Celebrate Fútbol Culture in Partnership with Complex in NYC and L.A.

The Modelo x Kappa collection made its debut recently with pop-up shops in Los Angeles and New York City.  At a launch event hosted at Complex in New York City on June 24th, guests lined up outside the venue for much of the evening, eager to join the party and get an early look at the collection, which was available to attendees a full day ahead of its public release on June 25th.

The activation celebrated the love of the beautiful game and both brands' long standing connection with fútbol culture and streetwear style. The crowd was entertained well into the night with a live DJ, complimentary Modelo served in custom Modlelo x Kappa jersey koozies, food from Titi's Empanadas and a custom print station for guests to personalize their jerseys.   The campaign’s fútbol themed videos played across digital screens throughout the space, while   outside, the Modelo Fútbol Truck elevated the excitement.   

The buzz has carried beyond the event, with social media praise of the collection's design and the authenticity of the partnership. As Modelo's brand licensing agency, JLG facilitated this partnership, aligning Kappa’s streetwear credibility and fútbol roots with the Modelo brand.
